Color Your Spirit: Live! – Stories by the Shore is a transformative 3-night retreat experience held at the historic Asilomar Conference Grounds—nestled between the forest and the sea on California’s breathtaking central coast. Designed for soul-seekers ready to embrace their authentic voice, this immersive weekend blends spiritual practice, storytelling, and creative writing in a supportive, inspiring environment—complete with cozy campfire circles and stunning Pacific sunsets to spark reflection and connection. Over the course of four days, we’ll journey together: Day One (Thursday): We’ll begin by establishing a safe and sacred creative space, building trust and connection within our circle so every voice feels valued and heard. Day Two (Friday): A day of self-discovery and reflection, with writing prompts, walking shoreline meditations, and the encouragement to believe that your story is worth sharing. Day Three (Saturday): Our storytelling day — a celebration of authenticity as we share our stories within the safe circle we’ve created. Day Four (Sunday): Practical tools and guidance for taking your story into the world — from blogs and websites to self-publishing, social media, and short-form video. Through powerful exercises, group connection, and coastal reflection, you’ll uncover your unique story and gain practical tools for sharing it—whether online, in a blog, or even in a book. Your total investment is $1,463, which includes: $333 workshop fee — paid to John to reserve your spot (covers all sessions, materials, and facilitation) Approx. $1,130 lodging & meals — paid directly to Asilomar via the provided booking link (includes 3 nights’ stay, all meals, tax & fees) This all-inclusive retreat provides everything you need to reconnect with your purpose, embrace your authentic voice, and bring your stories to life. Terms of Service All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any payments made. If you cancel, you may receive store credit in the amount of the $333 workshop fee to be applied toward a future event with John Mothershead. The $333 workshop fee is paid directly to John Mothershead. The remaining balance for lodging and meals is paid directly to Asilomar Hotel & Conference Center via the official booking link provided after registration. All attendees are required to stay on-site at Asilomar for the full retreat. Accommodations at external venues are not permitted.
