COLOR YOUR SPIRIT: LIVE! – AUTHENTIC STORYTELLING RETREAT “Go where you will, you have but to pause and listen to hear the voice of the Pacific.” — Robert Louis Stevenson OVERVIEW: A restorative weekend in Pacific Grove to write what is true, practice sharing it with care, and leave with realistic ways to share your story beyond the retreat. Come home to your voice. This 3-night, in-person retreat helps you get your most honest story onto the page, practice sharing it aloud in a supportive circle, and leave with clear next steps for sharing your work more broadly. This is not a critique-heavy workshop. It is a guided, encouraging container where every voice is respected. Through prompts, reflection, and structured storytelling practice, you will build confidence, clarity, and momentum around the story you are here to tell. No formal writing experience is required. SCHEDULE (Pacific Time): • Thu (3:00–5:00 PM): Create the container • Fri (9:00 AM–5:00 PM): Write what is true • Sat (9:00 AM–5:00 PM): Practice sharing aloud • Sun (9:00 AM–12:00 PM): Blog, book, social roadmap LOCATION: Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove Monterey (Pacific Grove, CA) Between downtown and Lovers Point, with cozy spaces to write and reflect. YOU WILL LEAVE WITH: • More clarity and confidence in your voice • Pages written and real momentum • Practice sharing your story aloud • Practical next steps to share beyond the retreat DATES: July 16–19, 2026 INVESTMENT: Workshop fee: $333.33 Lodging: booked separately with the hotel. A limited number of discounted rooms are available, based on availability ($449/night plus applicable taxes and fees) REFUND POLICY: Workshop registration is non-refundable, and all sales are final. If you cannot attend, you may request store credit toward a future offering. Hotel reservations are separate and managed directly by Kimpton. Any changes are subject to Kimpton policies.
