The Aligned Agenda is an inspired take on the traditional time blocking method. From Benjamin Franklin to Steve Jobs, many have used time blocking as a proven ritual for achieving productivity. By encouraging its users to be fully present in single tasks at a time (no more multitasking), productivity has been known to increase up to 80%. Further, the “chop wood, carry water” approach has huge benefits in reducing the user’s levels of stress and anxiety. Now, with this Aligned Agenda, we take the structure and simplicity of time blocking and combine it with the magic of the angels, positive affirmations, grace, and gratitude.

Here’s how it works:
We'll start our day with a brain dump. This is the time to write down, without judgement, anything and everything that we need to-do (even if it’s too much for one day). Let it all out! The act of getting the swirling stresses and expectations out of our mind and onto a piece of paper will generate a healthy release.
Looking at this brain dump example, I'll admit that it’s a bit overwhelming. Clearly, it’s not going to be possible to accomplish all of this in one day, so let's analyze the content of the list and pull out the top 3 to 5 priorities. We'll write those down in order of importance. These will become the first items we ultimately schedule within our agenda.
Without overthinking and before we plot out our plan for the day, let’s call in the support of the angels and write down an affirmation to keep us motivated. Keep it simple; we can’t get this wrong. The most important thing is to remind ourselves that angelic support is available to us and to set a positive intention for the day ahead, so don't worry about getting this perfect. Just get it done.
Feeling stuck? Here is a list of Angels and Affirmations to choose from:
Archangel Ariel (courage, synchronicities, pets): Thank you Archangel Ariel for blessing me with the abundance of your golden coins.
Archangel Azrael (emotional healing, counseling): Thank you Archangel Azrael for healing my thoughts and offering me clarity of mind through my day.
Archangel Chamuel (be seen, physical attraction): Thank you Archangel Chamuel for helping me stand out and be seen.
Archangel Gabriel (creativity, authenticity, speaking): Thank you Archangel Gabriel for offering me with the perfect words to provide an encouraging and informative presentation today.
Archangel Haniel (intuition, natural healing): Thank you Archangel Haniel for enlightening my intuitive insights and allowing them to guide my actions today.
Archangel Jeremiel (transition, taking responsibility): Thank you Archangel Jeremiel for empowering me to make the difficult decision to initiate change.
Archangel Jophiel (self-care, beauty, declutter): Thank you Archangel Jophiel for permitting me to prioritize self-care today.
Archangel Michael (protection): Thank you Archangel Michael for keeping me safe and secure today.
Archangel Metatron (warping time): Thank you Archangel Metatron for creating the time and space for be to get everything done.

Guardian Angels (protection, support): Thank you Guardian Angels for reminding me that i am not in this alone and supporting me throughout this day.
Now let’s start time blocking! The chart provided is broken into 30 minute sections. We'll prioritize our top to-dos and write them into the schedule (giving ourselves a reasonable amount of time to accomplish each task). Where possible, we can work in some additional items from the brain dump to fill in the gaps. Here’s the tricky part... we won’t feel guilty if one of our top priorities can’t fit in the schedule for today, we'll simply cross the item off the top to-do list and attempt to tackle it again tomorrow. (In the example below, I decided I didn’t have time to achieve my second prioritized item, so I crossed it off and I will have to accomplish that task on a day where I do not have so many client meetings scheduled). Once the big blocks are filled in, complete the holes with gentle reminders to eat, drink water, and TAKE BREAKS. When we document these healthy habits on the chart each day, we are more likely to accomplish them.
It's time to tackle our day. Without the pressure of perfection, let's do our best to stick to the timetable. We'll stay fully present in each individual task and, to the best of our ability, follow the guidance of our agenda. When / if we start feeling overwhelmed, let's remind ourselves of our affirmation and trust that the angels are supporting us. It's important for this daily exercise to empower us, so don't feel bound by what we've written. We can adapt the schedule as needed along the way.
And now for my favorite (and sometimes the hardest) part! At the end of our evening, we'll wind down by giving ourselves grace and gratitude. We'll write down positive remarks about what we achieved (and didn’t) and offer thanks for the glimmers of hope, synchronicities, and magic (no matter how small they are). By completing this reflection, we invite miracles to materialize again tomorrow.
Repeat this Aligned Agenda everyday and watch as the angels transform our work and the attitude with which we approach it!
