About the event
The cacao ordering deadline has passed. If you don’t have cacao (or cacao isn’t right for you), please join with tea and/or warm water instead—you’ll be fully included either way.
If you do have ceremonial cacao, here are simple preparation directions (choose one):
Pot method: Warm water and add cacao. Whisk while it melts, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Do not boil. Add plant-based milk (or more water) and whisk. Add cinnamon, cayenne, sweetener, or any optional spices/superfoods. Taste and adjust.
Blender method: Blend cacao with hot (not boiling) water and any optional add-ins until smooth, warm, and frothy.
